My Life
1. Canadian National Anthem I chose this song as my first one because its Canada’s national anthem. The reason why this is important because I was born in Canada, and I have always lived in Canada
2. Pokemon Theme Song I chose this song aswell, because pokemon is one of the best memories of my child hood. Pokemon was the first show that I’ve watched, It was the first movie that I can recall, and it was the first videogame I have ever played. It was my childhood in a nutshell.
3. Together We Ride (no lyrics) I chose this song because it’s a song that is for working together. I strongly dislike working by myself, so I chose it to represent that.
4. Sponge Bob Square Pants Theme Song Aside from Pokémon, this was another show that I was obsessed with as a child. I don’t know what it was about it, I couldn’t even understand what some of the words they used.
5. Don’t Stop Me Now I chose this song because usually when I start something I like to do, (like a new game) I don’t like to stop a lot during it, because I’m having fun with what I’m doing, which this song is about.
6. Okami – Harami Lake (no lyrics) I chose this song because of how relaxing it is. I listen to it almost daily before I sleep because of how relaxing it is. It’s a nice, soft, relaxing song that I like.
7. One – I chose this song because it was one of my favorite songs from my childhood. It is also the song that got me into drumming. It had such an amazing drum part that it had inspired me to learn it.
8. Pumped Up kicks - I chose this song to represent why it’s bad to have a powerful weapon at hand. It represents why I would never touch a lethal weapon, because you can lose control very easily.
9. It’s a long way to the top - I chose this song because it shows what it takes to become famous, and I had to keep that in mind when I started to play my insturments that I probably wouldn’t get to be famous.
10. Little Drummer Boy – I chose this song because I am a drummer because I feel like I always try my best when I play for other people, which is what happens in this song. I can also relate to this song because it’s a Winnipeg song.

How to Create a word document
How to create a word document
Step 1: Locate the Microsoft word icon on your desktop, and click on it. It looks like a “W” on top of a piece of paper.
Step 2: Now, your document is open, type whatever you want in it.
Step 3: when you are done typing your document, you will want to save it. Click on the “file” tab in the top left corner
Step 4: below the tab, there should be “save” and “save as”. Click on “save as”
Step 5: There should now be a window open asking where to save the file, choose where you would like to save the document. Remember the location.
You have now successfully created a word document and saved it.

Describe your game (including a title). (2)
My game (B.E.L.L.) is a platforming game that requires you to fight some enemies to get to the escape pod
What is the objective of the game? (1)
Discuss two strengths and one weakness of your game. (3)
One strength was that the obsicles it had were challenging, but not impossible
What improvements could be made? (1)
What difficulties did you encounter while creating your game? (1)
What did you have to modify or change from the original design? (1)
I wasn't orignially going to have as much platforming, but i had to, because enemies have to be spread out
Discuss the strengths and weaknesses of your performance during this assignment. (2)
What did you do well? (1)
What could you have done better? (1)
Briefly describe the game, including its objectives. (2)
List two strengths of the game. (2)
List one weakness of the game. (1)
Answer the three questions provided by the game’s designer. (3)

What is the objective of the game? (1)
The Objective of my game is to go through all the obsticles and get to the escape pod
Another strength is that it was decent in length to beat
One weakness was that the raining ninjas can be annoying, if you dont read the sign
An improvement I could have made could have been
One difficulty i had while making was trying to keep a balance between enemies and space
I wasn't orignially going to have as much platforming, but i had to, because enemies have to be spread out
One weakness i had while making the game was i couldn't decide on anything, and i was over thinking everything
One strength i had while making the game was that i used class time well
What did you do well? (1)
I think i did a good job on keeping a balance of enemies
I think i could have added more space, and other secret areas
QUESTIONS I WOULD LIKE AWNSERED
1. How could i have made it better
2. What did i do well
3. What was the difficulty on it
Ninja Escape Review (faheems game)
Ninja escape is a game featuring a little bit of platforming, but its based on defeating all the ninjas in a level, except for the last one, inwhich you have to get to the escape pod
The game was good in length
the game was difficult
ninjas get annoying, and killing them can get really tedious
1. Was the game fun
It was fun for the most time, but on the last level, the ninjas just knock you down and you have to do all the platforming all over again.

Sploder Video Game - Investigate
• What makes a “good” game enjoyable to play?
What I think makes a good game is to be able to play it through multiple times, like in Resident Evil 4. The reason that game had such a good replay value was because there was alot more to unlock to the story after its done. Another thing that makes a good game is to be able to feel emotion for a character. If there is no connection, then you cant put in twists, and therefor, the game can be very bland.
• What makes a “bad” game not enjoyable to play?
somethings that makes a game bad is not having a steady FPS. Also, another thing that a game cannot have if its going to be enjoyable is it cannot crash. crashing makes the game frusterating, and having to replay some areas can make or break a game, in my opinion.

Sploder Video Game - Design
• What type of game are you going to produce?
I will produce a platformer game, with enemies and wepons in it.
• What will it look like?
It will look like an arena style fighter mixed with platforming.
• How will the characters be controlled?
The charicter will be controlled with the 4 way arrow keys and a few keys (like zxc and space)
• What will be the objective of the game?
The objective will be to get all the crystals, but in order to move on and get the crystals you will need to kill some enemies
• How are you going to test its functionality?
I travel past the level and test a majoraty of space to make sure you cant fall through the floor, or go past the walls.
• How will it be evaluated?
I think it will be evaluated based on how buggy it is and the fun factor
• How long will you need to create it? Give a timeline for its completion.
I should take about all the class time we have deticated towards this project

Sploder Video Game - Plan
- What will you do first? Why?
- How will you insure that you complete the project on time?
- Who will test beta versions of your game?
- Will you incorporate other people’s suggestions into your game’s design?
- How will you decide if you have created a good game or not?

Photo Story Collage
1. This is a picture of my family. Family is important because well, they sort of have to be. In my family I have a Mom, a Dad, two sisters, a dog, and myself.
2. This is a picture representing winter. Winter is my favorite seasons for a few reasons. Firstly I like the cold weather, Secondly I like the look of snow everywhere. And in this season has my favorite holiday, Christmas.
3. This is a picture of drums. Drums are important to me because they were the first type of instrument that I actually played (recorder in grade 4 doesn’t count, they didn’t teach anything except hot cross buns really.) It was a good experience, and I hope I can perform again soon.
4. This is a picture of my favorite pastime, videogames. I like videogames so much because they are fun, relaxing, and can be very challenging. There is a wide genre, so there are is a game for everyone, if they give them a change.
5. This is my dog zeppelin; he is 7 years and 10 months. He’s an important part of my life because he’s always around, and always energetic. He loves to go for walks, and car rides.
6. This is a picture of food, more specifically, a hamburger and fries. This is my favorite meal, because it’s simple, tasty, and a “universal food” in which more often than not, people will like it.
7. This is a picture of a Christmas tree. Christmas is important to me because I am Christian, and it’s a Christian holiday. It is also my favorite holiday because you get gifts, and turkey, my favorite holiday food is served
8. This is a picture of hockey. Hockey is my favorite sport. What I like most about hockey is the awesome atmosphere when the playoffs come around. And when they are playing really close games it’s just so much fun to watch, although it can be a letdown if your team loses a close match.
9. This is a picture of a computer. Computers are my second favorite pastime to use, because there is a wide variety of stuff to do on it. You have your facebook, youtube, homework, flash games, music, and so much more that I find it a one stop destination for stuff to do.
10. This is a picture of a television. Television is a nice pastime, when I have no other options. There is always a good show on it seems, and when no one can decide on something to do, Television is a good option. And now since most shows are in HD, it’s no longer a strain on the eyes to watch!

Computer schematic
Moniter - The part that shows you a visual of what is happening on the computer
Computer - It runs programs on the hard drive
VGA cable - Sends an image from the computer to the moniter
Ethernet cable - Connects the computer to the internet
USB ports - Allows use of external hardware for the computer
Audio jack - Sends audio from the computer to the speakers (in this case the speakers are on the moniter)
